The label under the Alert column indicates whether active matching is "On" or not running.

The bell indicates whether audible alarms are enabled.

The following scenarios are possible:

  • "Off" (no message) and grey bell - active matching is not running, and no audible alarm is set. You'll see this for postings posted via bulk upload, FTP and Connexion, and postings created by your group members. Postings can also enter this state after returning 1000 active matches or if they live overnight.

  • "On" and grey bell - active matching is enabled, and no audible alarm is set. When new matches arrive for this posting, the "On" label will change to "New", but there will be no sound. This is the default state you'll see on a posting you've created in Power Web.

  • "On" and orange bell - active matching is enabled, and an audible alarm is set. When new matches arrive for this posting, the "On" label will change to "New", and an alert sound will play.

  • There should never be a case where the label field is empty, but the bell is orange.
